Our eighth school elected on polling day. Westfields Junior School in Yateley became our eighth Naacemark school on May 5th when Anthony met with the school’s ICT Manager, Dave Collins, and approved the final portfolio.

Karine George, head teacher, was also present and both were delighted at this recognition of the school’s progress in ICT during the past couple of years. Karine herself has just attended our Windsor SLICT programme. One of the exciting innovations in Westfields will be the setting up of a teaching/observatory classroom in the Autumn term using web cams to enable teachers outside the room to observe what is going on inside without the usual restraints. We will report on the progress of this exciting development.
