| More Farnborough College of
Technology students celebrate!
Date: 20-07-2005
Gale and Anthony were asked to create and run 2
ICT modules as part of Farnborough College of Technology’s
Foundation degree in Early Years.
The evening course was for students in their first
year of a two year diploma course set up this year by the DfES.
The sessions ran for throughout the academic year, at three-weekly
intervals, and were for practitioners already working in the Foundation
and Early Years’ sector. The ten sessions included practical
experience (with Tony running a session on non-computer devices)
and educational planning and assessment. At the conclusion of the
programme, a total of 22 students submitted portfolios of evidence
that are awaiting final verification by the college.
To celebrate the end of their first year,
a barbeque was organised to which Anthony and Gale were invited.
This enjoyable event celebrated the end of one year’s study
and anticipated the second year which will start in October.
