| Naacemark school Number Ten
Date: 26-05-2005
Guillemont Junior School in Farnborough became
Gatehouse’s 10th Naacemark school on Thursday, May 26th when
Gale visited to accredit the school’s portfolio. The school’s
ICT Coordinator, Roger Blackburn, was delighted to show Gale, Anthony
and the ICT Governor round the school following the accreditation
process. Plenty of ICT-supported work was in evidence and the children
were very enthusiastic about the work that they had been doing.
Later, the group was joined by Barbara Cook, the school’s
head teacher, herself SLICT trained, to celebrate the success. The
school is planning to become a SLICT Host School in the near future.
Earlier in the week, Gale and Anthony accredited
Round Diamond School in Stevenage. Paul Turner, the ICT Manager,
and Deborah Godbold, another SLICT trained head teacher, were equally
pleased with their award. Round Diamond is already a SLICT Host
School and is a local centre of ICT support within Hertfordshire.
Congratulations to both schools on their achievements.
