Parental Engagement Courses
Since its inception, Gatehouse has always offered a wide range of courses, supporting all aspects of ICT development – curriculum, technical issues, software and the use of different peripherals.
Throughout the coming year we will be offering a series of in house training opportunities in all aspects of ICT. These can be delivered in school, supporting staff and LSA/TA professional development, or to be more cost effective, can be offered to a local cluster of school staff at a school willing to act as host. Training can be flexible – the school or cluster may book a half day or a day with one group of staff attending a morning session followed by a different group for the afternoon activity. Rates are as quoted on this site but may be open to negotiation if working with more than one school.
To book one our these course, or for more information on how we can tailor them to your specific, requirements please contact us.
Parental Engagement in Online Reporting
The main aim is to enable schools/teachers to determine where they are in relation to the four subsections of the online reporting framework: this will be achieved through a mixture of discussion, self-analysis and exemplars from Case Study Schools. Government requires Primary schools to have this in place by 2012.
